I wouldn’t over tighten your bolts but then again these are not designed for 100% durability.
Tighten the bolts snug and you’ll be fine!

Since I commissioned these and supplied the product picture I felt it necessary to comment. These are amazing accent pieces to your gym, also adds protection from moving parts like band pegs. I used them on everything, even weight pegs. Have held up perfectly over the last 2 plus years.

These red colored washers add style and protection to my Monster rack by keeping the powder coat in pristine condition. Highly recommended.
